Is sending instruments safe?

Our team at FLUTES & FLUTISTS literally ship hundreds of flutes every month and after operating for more than 30 years, they have never had a situation where an instrument got lost. Very rarely, a parcel may get knocked during transit, causing slight damage to the instrument within or simply requiring it to be re-adjusted. Please rest assured that should this happen, we will be more than happy to arrange for it to be repaired by our technicians.

What happens with insurance?

Our insurance covers all instruments sent to and from us. As long as the method of delivery has a record of the parcel being picked up and dropped off, then our insurance will cover the shipment. Usually, the best way to ensure this is to use a shipping method that allows tracking and requires signature on delivery.

When will my shipment arrive?

We always endeavour to process orders and shipments ASAP. We also use companies that have consistently proven to be reliable and, importantly, careful with our parcels. This includes Australia Post, StarTrack, DHL, TNT and FedEx. Which company we use depends on the destination address (some companies are more reliable for certain areas than others), but we will also use whatever company our customers choose, if they have a preference. Occasionally, shipments may get delayed. In such an event, please let us know and we will help you track it down.
